As the first quarter of 2021 has drawn to a close, pirate-themed games on iOS have shown varying trends across Europe. Sensor Tower data provides a glimpse into how five popular titles in this category have fared.

Pirate Attack: Sea Battle started the quarter with revenues amounting to $96K in the first week of January, which saw a decrease to $12K by the end of March. Downloads for the game declined from 8.5K to around 3K, while weekly active users (WAU) also dropped from nearly 12K to 4.9K.

The Cyprus-based Pirate Treasures - Gems Puzzle showed more resilience, with revenues starting at $12.7K in the first week of January and ending at $9.2K in the last week of March. Downloads saw a slight decrease from 5.9K to 4.5K, and WAU dipped from 59.3K to 52.9K.
